Little Mermaid

Flipping flopping like a fish out of water - I felt like I have been going through a creative block for quite some time. So I took this online class from Tamara Laporte, Willowing.Org, Ever After 2016.

Nothing but fun and I couldn't wait to continue the next day. The substrate is a Canson watercolor board and all though this is a mixed media piece it is predominantly done in watercolor. Using watercolor, acrylics of all sorts, pen and ink, gesso, collaging, watercolor crayon, fun.

I have all ready started a second piece led by a different artist. This one is Beauty and the Beast. This time I'm trying to follow the lesson but making it more my own. And . . .

We have a beautiful bouquet of Lilies that I photographed and will start a traditional watercolor of the Lilies.
