Inspired by the 2016 production number my daughter's dance team competed, the painting A World Away is a visual collage of the 12 minutes of storytelling 40+ dancers completed. Based on the concept of a child's dream, the painting includes birds, butterflies, natives, pirates, a bridal party, acrobats and a ring master. All proceeds from this particular print will be donated to the dance boosters organization affiliated with her studio, Broadway Dance Company (Lake Orion, MI), and used to support young dancers' tuition. Thanks so much for your interest in my artwork and for supporting the art of dance!
